1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept return requests only under the following circumstances:

  • The product received is damaged during transit.
  • The product received is defective or has a manufacturing defect.
  • The wrong product was delivered.
  • The product is significantly different from the item ordered.

Return requests must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Customized or made-to-order products.
  • Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper handling.
  • Products showing signs of use after delivery.
  • Items purchased during clearance, sale, or promotional events unless received damaged.
  • Minor variations in wood grain, texture, color, finish, or handcrafted details.

3. Damaged or Defective Products

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number.
  • Clear photographs of the product.
  • Photographs of the packaging.
  • An unboxing video showing the condition of the package and product.

Failure to provide an unboxing video may affect the approval of your claim.

4. Return Approval Process

Once we receive and review your request, our team will assess the issue and notify you regarding approval or rejection of the return request.

Approved returns must be shipped back in their original packaging and condition.

5. Refunds

Once the returned item is received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Refund processing timelines may vary depending on your bank, payment provider, or financial institution and typically take 5–10 business days after approval.

6. Replacement Policy

Where applicable, Urbane Crafts may offer a replacement instead of a refund for damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered products.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders may be cancelled before production or dispatch begins.
  • Customized and made-to-order products cannot be cancelled once production has started.
  • If an order has already been shipped, cancellation requests may not be accepted.

8. Return Shipping

If the return is approved due to our error, defective product, or shipping damage, return shipping costs may be covered by Urbane Crafts.

For any other approved return circumstances, return shipping charges may be borne by the customer.

9. Natural Characteristics of Wood

As our products are handcrafted using natural wood and artisan techniques, slight variations in color, grain patterns, texture, knots, and finish are normal and are not considered defects.
